Greetings, I wanted to take a moment to gather feedback, we are looking for growth opportunities for players and factions. Our overall goal is to provide adequate game play. So we are asking the players to help us with an average based on base line needs for a player. So for example to physically play the game you need a Base, CV, HV and an SV. That would be 4 cores as an individual player, so if you have 5 cores that should be very acceptable? So to have a faction to physically play the game you need a Base, CV, HV, and an SV as well. However this would present a 5 core limit to the whole faction, right! A faction is designed for players to work together in the environment, so what constitutes the need? PVP areas are unlimited due to their nature, while PVE Residence is different. So on a playfield where the faction is going to establish a home reference, what truly is needed? 3 bases, (Farm, Hangar, Production)? What about ships... Well each person wants to have their own ship, so how can we find a ground that helps everyone out? Not impose a ship core limit? Impose that all ships not being used must be placed in the Orbit? We have heard everyone loud and clear, the simple point really is to provide stability for all players. While the planets have a 200 core limit, the game becomes very interesting at around 80 cores. Why? Because each player has to render the large structures, no matter if it is a base or a ship. Players have different internet connections, and if they lag out sends bad packets, it causes corruption. Yes that's a real thing! Some player get kicked from the game because they only have x amount of system memory to support the game. To combat this having some limits will help to ease this for that issue. Some players graphics cards can't support very large structures, lag's them out. Keep in mind some of these graphics cards are pretty decent, but the game wrecks havoc on the GPU. At the end... Help us to help you! Provide feedback that supports what's physically needed for the game! Use your game experience to speak, not looking for needs or wants.
